A secured method for ensuring the time attendance data is important for the management to review the punctuality of the employees. Face image, the unique biometrics characteristic, fulfils the accurate and secure standards for individual identification.
NEC Mobile Face Recognition Attendance System is a comprehensive solution utilizes NEC Face Recognition Technology – NeoFace to deliver a reliable and flexible solution to fulfil various environments. The built-in face recognition engine performs identification from one-to-many matching for staff attendance operations. The system provides a 24-hour digital clock display to facilitate clock-in and clock-out attendance operations. It comes with visual signals to indicate successful or failure acknowledgement. With NeoFace’s accuracy and speed technology, the identity of the enrolled person can be instantly verified, time theft and attendance abuse can be prevented. This is very useful where supervisors and managers are not available to monitor clocking stations.
NEC Face Recognition Technology achieved the highest performance evaluation in the “Face in Video Evaluation (FIVE, *1) 2017” testing performed by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) (*2). Results were released in NIST's Interagency Report 8173: Face In Video Evaluation (FIVE) Face Recognition of Non-Cooperative Subjects. NEC Face Recognition Technology also took first place for the fourth consecutive time following the 2009 Multiple Biometric Grand Challenge (MBGC 2009), 2010-2011 Multiple Biometrics Evaluation (MBE 2010-2011), and 2013 Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT 2013).
